If you often print texts for reading at home or at the office, to save ink or toner usually we can change the print setting to draft quality. If you want take it one step further, you can use the “ink/toner saving” font.

SPRANQ released a font that readable but at the same time use less ink/toner to print. They called it Ecofont. It’s a white dotted font set, sound simple but it’s been engineered while using less ink/toner but still pleasant for the eyes to read. It’s based on Vera Sans, an open source font. So it’s free. Go get it here and use this font when printing.
