All the track titles are changed except 1, Dao Xiang (Fragrant Rice).

Quite surprising why they redo these, maybe they afraid the leaked album will have a lot of impact on the sales. By changing the whole things from cover to track titles, this will force the fans to get the “real” thing.

Here are the tracks:

1 . Long Zhan Qi Shi 龍戰騎士 (Dragon Knight) was 魔杰座 mo jie zuo (Capricorn)

2. Gei Wo Yi Shou Ge De Shi Jian 給我一首歌的時間 (Give Me A Song’s Time) was 女儿红 nü r hong (Red Daughter)

3. She Wu 蛇舞 (Snake Dance) was 东方之殿 dong fang zhi dian (Place of the Oriental)

4. Hua Hai 花海 (Flower Ocean) was 红楼梦中 hong lou meng zhong (Dream of the Red Mansion)

5. Mo Shu Xian Sheng 魔術先生 (Mr. Magic) was 失恋的青蛙 shi lian de qing wa (Lovelorn Frog)

6. Shuo Hao De Xing Fu Ne 說好的幸福呢 (Where is the Promised Happiness) was 失落非主流 shi luo fei zhu liu (Lost Mainstream)

7. Lan Ting Xu 蘭亭序 (Orchid Pavilion) was 从新爱 cong xin ai (New Love)

8. Liu Lang Shi Ren 流浪詩人 (Wander Poet) was 大灌蓝 da lang guan(Big Dunk)

9. Shi Guang Ji 時光機 (Time Machine) was 达芬奇的画布 da fen qi de hua bu (Leonardo Da Vinci’s Canvas)

10. Qiao Ke Shu Shu 喬克叔叔 (Uncle Joker) was 小丑 Xiao Chou (Clown / Joker)

11. Dao Xiang 稻香 (Rice Aroma) or Fragrant Rice

Surprisingly the first track (魔杰座) is quite normal compared to 2 previous albums and I like it a lot. On track three (東方之殿), egyptian like rap song really don’t suite my taste.

東方之殿 is the third track. Not a song that can be enjoyed for me.

Despite of the fourth track position, 紅樓夢中 is a very nice love song like other Jay Chou’s hit.

Track five, “失戀的青蛙” is the icon of the album. Started with dialog and opened with a cowboy style like previous album. The song is an uptempo and have an ambient like a high school performance style with clapping sound. Unique and entertaining.

The best song is track number 6 (失落非主流), really touchy and shiver me when I first hear it.

從新愛, track 7, started with an Er Hu as opening and flowing as background accompaniment with some rap at the interlude. Great song, very suitable for a kung-fu themed movie.

Harmonica dominate the start of track 8 (大灌藍), a duet song. “Bad boy” style. Not very good, just acceptable.

Track 9, 達芬奇的畫布, a med tempo lovely song. Like it.

小丑, track 10, a rap style song with joker’s laugh at the background. Pretty plain and boring.

The last but not the least, 稻香 (Fragrant Rice). It suppose to be the icon of the album. Just OK lah for this track.

Personally, after reviewing these song, 4 out of 5 for this album. Guess If you are a Jay Chou’s fan, you’ll get the album despite of my review.

Update: Fixed track 10 name

Update 2: Looks like my copy is shifted 1 track. Track 1 shifted to track 11 and other shifted up.

A couple months ago when I went to Grand Indonesia, I was stumled on a crowd surrounding a small stage. A young man was playing a keyboard. No, it’s an electone.

He was performing like a pro, with a composition that I never heard before. Must be his composition. It’s rich and dynamic. I was standing in awe. God must be crazy. This kid got talent.

After he performed he was interviewed. No wonder he was that good eventhough just 16 at that time if I’m not mistaken. He was preparing him self for an International competition. No wonder.

Today my brother just sent me a link to a video in youtube. Hey, it’s him. The electone boy. It’s his performance on 2007 electone competition. He got the first prize for Junior section. By the way, his name is Kenan Loui Widjaja.

If you think his performance in this video is fantastic, you’ll gonna be awed even more on his new composition I saw. Btw he just won the first prize 2008 Asia Electone Festival for Open Age three days ago.
