benzwu

What is benzwu? It’s all started when I want to pick my user name for one of the biggest web-based email service. I was known as Benny Wu. But there were too many Benny Wu in this world that already took all combination that represent my name. My best bet is benwu, but the minimum characters were 6 and I have to re-think again.

I like to use prefix “Z” in my code title back then to mark that was my work so I don’t have to take a peek inside the code. It was a multi-coder environment. Go figure. So, I put “Z” in between ben and wu to form Ben “Z” Wu. Later some of my friends called me as Benz Wu as well.

I was a computer user since I was kindergarten. My first computer is a video game. Video game is a computer right? I even forgot the name, it was 1 generation before Atari. It was given by my auntie. Now I still spend most of my time in front of a computer since I work in IT field.

In the past I was involved in a little bit of music (piano, trumpet), a little bit martial arts (jujitsu, taekwondo) and a lot of video games. Now I spend my spare time contemplating, gardening or meditating.
